Day 45 - WE WON!!!
Wednesday, October 22, 2008
I have a confession...
I have been in hiding. I had a bad week and half (week 4-5). Workouts were awesome but my eating sucked!!! As a result, week 5 I was up on the scale 3.4 lbs. So I refocused this past week and was down 6.2 lbs. I have lost 11.6 lbs in 6 weeks! I am still on track for my goal of 20 lbs in 10 weeks.
I have really been thinking about my eating and trying to find a lifestyle that works for me. Strict 6 days a week and 1 free day/meal is not working for me. It is not a lifestyle I feel that I can do for the long hall. I am eating healthier than ever before and plan to continue with lots of veggies, fruits and lean proteins. I will continue to eat 5-6 meals a day. I plan on getting my calorie deficit from the Eat Stop Eat method of intermittent fasting. I will fast 2 times per week for a 24 hr period. I will see how this works for me.
WE WON!!! My partner and I won our first match today! We started playing tennis in May and joined a league in August. We have been playing well for being so new but we want a win under our belt and today we got it. We played up (we are line 3 but played line 2) and the score was 2-6, 6-2, 6-4.
Day 30 - Week 4 Results
Wednesday, October 8, 2008
Week 4 was tough! Great workouts and really bad eating is not how I had planned it. I talked to my trainer and she said "re-focus and start logging foods again." I have a tendency when I mess-up to throw my hands in the air and say why bother! Then I begin the downward slop into failure. NOT this time though!!!! I ate clean yesterday and had an awesome workout. I CAN DO THIS!
I added my progress picture and I lost 1.6 pounds this week :-)
Day 24 - Help ladies ;-)
Wednesday, October 1, 2008
PMS!!!! Need I say more? I weighed-in yesterday and was only down .6 pounds. I had an awesome 45 minute TnT workout and played tennis for about an hour and a half. But, I also had MAJOR cravings for junk (salty-sweet). I was also thinking about my slip-ups this weekend and had a light bulb moment. I don't know how it is that my TOM can sneak up on me! I mean give me a break it only has been happening approximately every 28 days for the last 30 years or so! I usually just give in to the cravings, tiredness, moodiness, headaches and bloating. Not this time!!! Any suggestions on how to fight this for the next few days?
Thanks for listening to my ramblings.
P.S. To any guys reading this sorry if this is TMI.
